During his recent visit to our operational site in Klein Sabie Thomas Gents, our Group COO, together with Dr. Nontobeko Mahlalela – the municipal manager of Ehlanzeni District Municipality gave the interview for the Lowvelder EXPRESS, one of the most influential weekly newspapers in Mpumalanga.

This interview captures the part of PalletBiz Network’s vision of being an increasingly strong contributor to local communities while respecting our role as a corporate citizen.

Dr. Nontobeko Mahlalela acknowledged PalletBiz for its collaborative efforts with the government to boost economic development. Joined by senior and general managers, Mahlalela highlighted the company’s positive impact on the community, revealing that it has already employed 35 individuals.

The pursuit is indeed not without challenges, however with the support of Nontobeko Mahlalela, and the municipality directorship we managed to develop the project of PalletBiz South Africa relocation to Sabie and work towards its prospects.

Quoting our Franchising Network COO, the Lowvelder Express feature outlines our vision for creating spin-offs by engaging in bulk purchases and selling to small and medium-sized enterprises (SMMEs), further contributing to job opportunities within the construction sector.

As the article states, Mahlalela affirmed the district’s dedication to providing necessary infrastructure support for companies within its jurisdiction. She emphasized the collaborative efforts with the local municipality, Thaba Chweu, as a means to tackle poverty, unemployment, and inequality.

We extend our sincere appreciation for the recognition and assure our dedication to delivering only premium timber and packaging solutions. Our investments speak to both domestic, regional, and intercontinental supply chains in PalletBiz since we as a Franchisor always aim to facilitate solutions across the network.

Emphasizing our firm commitment, we strive to contribute to the sustained growth of the local economy. Stay tuned as we eagerly look forward to developing the next chapter of our journey!
