2021 is starting to look like a year of great potential and possibilities for PalletBiz RSA. Agro-processing businesses are impactful in South Africa. The agro-processing and agricultural supply chain hold many business opportunities from consumable items, like vegetables, to industrial items such as wooden pallets. The beauty in all this is that the sector has seen a positive growth trajectory starting as far back as 2019.
In January 2021, PalletBiz had already onboarded two new key accounts (as shown in the picture). It seems that 2021 might be the beginning of the post-COVID-19 recovery for PalletBiz RSA. We have had positive interactions with existing and prospective clients and aim to continue the positive engagements with our clients.
The South African National Budget Review for 2021 revealed the South African Government’s Economic Reconstruction and Recovery Plan which focuses on raising the long-term economic growth rate of the country by supporting industries with high employment potential, such as agriculture.
We will continue to work hard to play a meaningful role in the recovery of the agricultural sector with the aims of creating valuable jobs, improving the livelihoods of direct and indirect stakeholders. Most importantly ensuring sustainable practices to protect our biodiversity and maintain our awareness of climate change as an organization.
